Having a straight smile does not necessarily mean you have to have a mouthful of braces. With the emergence of Invisalign—also referred to as adult braces—straightening your smile can be discreet. Invisalign has helped thousands of people align their crooked teeth, while avoiding flashing metal when they smile.
At Dental Health and Aesthetics, Drs. Steve Green and John Klooster provide Invisalign treatment for their clients. They understand that we may not want to relive those awkward teenage years. Invisalign treatment offers the same desired effect as traditional braces—the only difference is, it’s invisible!
To begin Invisalign treatment, you will be given a series of aligners. Drs. Green and Klooster will advise you to replace one set of aligners for the next in the series every two weeks. You will also be instructed to remove these aligners when eating, drinking, brushing and flossing.
Whenever you switch aligners, your teeth shift a little. And about nine to 15 months later, your teeth should have straightened completely. However, each case varies and you may require more or less time for your treatment.
Make sure to visit Drs. Green and Klooster every six weeks for regular check-ups and maintenance.
