There are many forms of dental education. Let’s start with degrees earned by dentists, there are two designations that can be earned upon graduation from dental school in the United States. The most common is the DDS designation ( Doctor of Dental Surgery) and the second is DMD ( Doctor of Dental Medicine ). The degrees and education are both the same. Education never ends, continuing education is absolutely necessary to improve skills in every aspect of our careers. The skills of the team are so important in the development of a successful dental practice.
